remove burn rings on nickel????

what is the best ,way to remove the burn marks on the end of a nickel plated s&w cyl.without damage to the plateing--tom :roll:

There used to be a cloth impregnated with a chemical that worked well. Try Brownells, PrecisionReloading, or perhaps Natchez.. I think(remember your trusting MY memory) the cloth was made by Hoppes...
