Hi:

  Anyone seen this new semi auto rifle from Winchester yet? I got the new Guns and Amoo magazine and saw the new guns for 2006 and there it was. Looks real good!!! Anyone know what the price will be?

same as the browning short trac. yet another winchester ripoff of a good browning design.

winchester seems to be going down the tubes...they haven't brought anything new out in years other than the short magnums. their guns are the same as always and i really wish they werent owned by the same company as browning so they would have to think on their own and come up with good new designs.

There are some similarities. The main differances that I noticed between the 2 are:

1. The Winchester's receiver has a more rounded top.

2. Satin finish on the Winchester verses the hi-gloss on the Browning.

I think the price will be somewhere between 750 and 818.00
