LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE.  I have had problems with my handi rifles.  I do believe there are quality control issues.  I don't hunt with rimless barrels.  When I take a rimless caliber to the range I also take a cleaning rod.

I don't feel customers should expect problems from a $200.00 rifle any more then from a $2000 rifle.  I AM NOT A WHINER, LOSER, OR LIBERAL.  I have very definitely paid my dues in life and don't like labels like the above.  I'm just not thrilled with the problems.  I CAN afford expensive custom rifles.  I just like the way these little rifles fit my body.  If I choose to complain then, that is exactly what I WILL do.  If anyone doesn't like it, TUFF.  Please don't let this forum become like the old HR/NEF forum.  In the words of a great American icon (Rodney King) can't we just get along?

Take care and God bless.

Tom

Mitchell,  If your post was aimed at Bladerunner you need to go back and read his post again. He simply said these guns were'nt for him and he was giving them up. He did not get rude, he did not whine, and he did not say all Handis were junk. He was very polite about what he said and tried not to offend anyone.  That said, I think the Army will do you a lot of good. Maybe you will grow up and learn a little respect for others.

BA...There wasn't any names mentioned...and so...why is it that people can't feel just the opposite of you and post about it...fair is fair is it not...and as far as him needing to learn respect...that really isn't up to you or me to say...since he is intitalled to his opinions...

Get this folks...if I am to be fair ...I need to be fair across the board...This isn't going to be a slap in the face to anyone here...this means both sides have a equal say...any further flaming of individuals for any reason is going to be dealt with..and Tom...you don't need to worry about it getting out of hand like it did over there...it ain't going to happen...

Mac'

the thought strongly came to me that Mitchell should go into the USMC.  i may have chosen a different pew, but am certainly in the right Church since he is going into the military.   my take on this is that he is ready for the next step in maturity, and for him it is the military.   obviously he has agreed by already enlisting!  i tell you sincerely, if i didn't think he had decency and potential i'd suggest he join something else -- but won't mention it here!

Mitchell'

i won't call you.   what did this have to do with your post.......the part where i said that the solid discipline and rigor would remove such trivial irritations from you, and less focus on Handi' rifles until you are further along the path in life will also help.

the military, i suspect, because of what i've seen briefly on this forum, will plant further good seeds in you that will carry you to even greater heights of maturity and thought process.   Handi' rifles and forums will be a mere pasttime, as such.

i admit to rising to strong feelings and verbage when i think i 'smell' arrogance on the forum.   but i myself am thinking of tapering off on my participation........because life has too many other aspects that demand my attention right now: a 15-month-old grandson, my wife, my job (which is tiring), etc. etc.    I love Handi's in some respects, but  i myself am tired of the confrontation over such relatively trivial matters.

Mitchell, i'm in no position to judge anyone and nor are you.   I greatly advise people to reverence Our Lord's Name, but am not worried about saying "hell".    I don't like filth in conversation.....but "hell" is none such.

My point:  i think you are overreacting.

i won't call you because i respect my privacy, and because i think your family has already poured a lot of good ingredients into you.   you don't need too much of my help. (but i was right; and am glad you have enlisted.   you'll be a good man in the Army if you Stay Christian!)  I hope that when you are home on leave, or wherever, after going through 'ITR' or whatever they call it today, that you'll let us know how you are doing.

all the best to you,

SS'

SS I am quite often guilty of getting frustrated about MINOR things.  We all have opinions.  There are times when mine are pretty lame.  I'm just glad someone is getting a handle on it.

Mitchell I wouldn't join up again even if I were young enough but, I don't regret it.  It was a great experience.  You will find a lot of good things available to you now.  The schools that are available are great.  Take advantage of  all the training you can get. I hope and pray you will never need to see combat.  If you do remember Jesus' words to the roman soldiers. be worthy of your pay.

Thanks and God bless.

wow not even 24 hours and my complaining has gotten under the skin of most of you. now how frustrated do you think us true handi lovers are with a few months of complaining??

now the typical me would of never started this thread but with all the crap lately i thought it couldn't hurt . so i told everyone to shut up , i got a few back too.

no to the point of this thread (i was gona wait a full 24 hours but this is close enough). did anybody get anything useful out of this thread???? did you learn any new tricks to play on our handi's??? did this better you in any way????? i didn't think so.

neither has any of the the "fine i'm leavening threads" or the usless "handi's are junk and i'll never buy an other" posts. there is nothing wrong with asking a how to?? or help me with?? or even a it didn't work . but all the rest gets real old real quick.

9 times out of 10 theses "bad handis" just need that last trick the hasn't been tried yet , i have proof on two occasions. if you don't want to play with them then like i said get a sako , they're known for being out of the box amazing. now a few handis have too but lets say 7 out of 10 times your going to need atleast one "trick" to get it the way you like it.

its time all the handi haters crap stopped . we are handiholic's and we love our handi's . now can this forum just get back to our old jokes of " love a handi and shoot at a encore" ??? or i'm going back to the hide where i belong.

Mitchell,

I have always thought of you as a decent person, I truly think there are good people here SS, BA and the rest of you on this fourm are all decent people. I may be wrong on my concern for qc, but I thought we could have a positive talk about it. Because H&R will stand behind them and as Mac said they will "bend over backwards to make things right" Dose make H&R a  good company by anyones book. The Truth is thease are fun rifles, For myself I would like to see them stay that way. The same goes for this forum, it has been enjoying and fun. Well I guess I have said enough,   Merry Chistmas everyone.

Peace and Light

John
