big heavy 44 mag bullets ??

How big of a 44mag bullet will the factory 12" G2 contender barrel stablize well? I was looking at some 355Gr beartooth bullets in a mild load around 1000fps but was unsure if these would shot well at that speed and weight out of my factory contender barrel and twist? Thanks for and help or ideas!

I would venture a guess that 300 gr. might be your maximum weight out of a .44 mag.  Above that might be best left for the .444 Marlin.

I have shot the 325gr LBT from Cast Performance in my Comtender and Rugers.They shot good groups but I can't remember the velocity.
