TROUBLE???

Is anyone else having problems? I am having a rather difficult time,getting in,posting,reading posts etc.The thing times out and is very ,very slow.
 All this started after about 18 hours of not being able to get on here at all.
 Anyone else??

Oh thank goodness its not just me. Just spent some time scrubbing directories and compressing files hoping that would speed my laptop up. Does seem to be this site, though. Other sites are much more snappy for me now.

Erryone is. We'll get it worked out in the next few days. Matt has to shut the site down and change out the software. Just a matter of him finding the time to get it done. All should be back to normal early next week, maybe sooner.

Yep Tom ive had same problems , loooong extended waits to get on site and to answer topics.  I thought it has something to do with you  playing with nude  muskrat carcasses and sniffen bvr castors hanging in yr  fur shed.... :roll:

I'm hoping I can force Matt to do the software exchange today. I've threatened him with severe bodily harm iffen he don't get around to it real soon. Told him at 33 he ain't too old to get his bottom tanned again iffen he don't mind.  :-D

Be aware tho that when the old software is removed and the new installed the banners may go away for a few days. He will have to add the needed mods back in and those may not get done at the same time as the software switch.

He is operating on about three hours sleep a night because of the big contract he is working on and just keeps running into snags that just won't let him get done on it.

Matt has now deleted the old software and installed a fresh new version of it. At this time things seem really fast again. But there are not a lot of folks online right now. Still for me things are popping up almost instantly on my satellite connection.

He still has to add back the various mods we use and get the banners back up and running. This should be done over the next few days. But for now at least it looks like the problems are behind us.
