Have an older H&R .45 cal cap lock that has a slight gap between the breech end of the barrle where it closed - approx. dollar sized gap.
How can this be repaired?
Thanks in advance.

The H&R Centerfire Rifle Forum has a bunch of Stickies and this is one of the subjects covered there. The folks on that forum have the repair for about every problem that comes up with the rifles. Now I don't necessarily endorse them but they do have answers and you can use at your own risk.

There are several fixes depending on the exact problem. GB- I'll have to check that forum out too.!!!
