Hornady 300 gr RN load for .375H&H
« on: January 06, 2006, 03:46:39 PM »
Hi again all,

I have some Hornady 270 and 300 gr round-nosed soft point bullets that I'd like to load in my .375 H&H.  I have some IMR-4350 and Varget powders.  Does anyone have some loading info you'd like to share for those bullets?  Thanks,

Karl

With the 260 grain accubond i used 76.5 gr of IMR 4350 with great accuracy and 75 GR of IMR 4350 for the hornady 300 gr roundnose.300 gr was going right around 2500 fps 20 feet from the muzzle. My rifle is a cz-550.

If you look in Lymans Reloading Handbook you'll see some different loadinds for the 375 H&H. They are the ones I use or close to them. And I get 2648 fps with the Serria 300 gr bullets. I cked for pressure and there was no signs.  :D
