Don't know who invented it,but there has been some type of coil spring traps for many,many years.
I have real doubts that victor had anything to do with them,think they came about long before victor.
Throughout the years,victor bought out the other trap companies.So a lot of what they came out with,were already being done by the competiton.
I just know that I have an old single coilspring triumph,and I am sure they were out before then.
