trapping ring-tailed cats
« on: January 02, 2006, 11:16:49 AM »
Hello all. I now live in new mexico and moved here from east texas about 1-1/2 years where i trapped coyote, fox, bobcat, coon, beaver and otter. I have been trapping for about 25 years but until now I have never lived where there were ring-tailed cats. I am seeking information on types of sets and bait used to catch this critter. Any info you can give to assist will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A size 1 trap in a cubby set works for me. For bait I usually use small scraps of meat or fish. Hope this helps!
