You do if you want them to fit a barrel you buy from them, if you buy a used barrel from someone, you can fit it yourself if you're the DIY type.

Tim,

Are you going to be hunting the Klick this year? I get home on the 7th of May, hope to do a little hunting before the season closes. About mid-may, I have complete ankle reconstruction - so there lies the rest of my summer.

My uncle hasn't been seeing many birds recently, although - we did see some across the river over last time I was home.

Hi Ken!!! Yes, I will, at least part of the season, got a place to check out near Willard too, that looks promising, also going to be scouting for a place to hunt deer in that area. Hope you heal quickly after your surgery!

Tim

I actually lived at the Fish Hatchery up in Willard for a couple years (My dad is a biologist). Lots of turkey's around the area... I may have to make a couple of trips around there.

Have you heard of Nestor Peak? I've shot a couple of deer just driving up that road, stopping, and looking around. If you hit that road just infront of the Gas plant and follow that road all the way around, you end up at Northwestern Lake (upper White Salmon River). You might try some of that area. Also, I take my old HR 12 gauge and limit on grouse nearly everytime I drive up that road during the season.

Good luck scouting.

Seems to me the last time I was up the road to Nestor Peak, it was gated!! But, I've been all over that area, got my first turkey over 10yrs ago in the Buck Creek area.

Thanks Ken!!
