i orderd a set of inserts for my llyman 17a fornt sight from buffalo arms at
$15 i was in shock to see they charged $23 shiping all up $38 that cums out at $50 australian.i have sent an emaile complaining but not receved a reply as yet.wot i cant understand is its a set of inserts on a card it would weigh hardley anything. when i got my 17ahb from them the shiping and insurance was $15us on a $25 item.i will not be getting anything else from them.

Ouch!

Not being familiar with overseas shipping, I'd suspect shipping to be more.  ...not that much more though.

thats rite knight baught a lee expander die and expander plug and compresion die last year from track of the wolfe, thats a lot heaver than sight inserts ,and that shiping only cost me  $10.50 u/s and have baught stuff from other dealers in the states and there shiping was no where near that.as i said wont be bying from them any more.your rite there mack.

Bernie : next time you need somethink from the US I be glad to purchase it for you and ship it your way,I would thnik it would be a lot cheaper then what they are charging you :D

Be careful what you volunteer to do folks. I once shipped a scope to Canada and it cost me dang near as much to ship as the scope was worth. Like it or not shipping a single item like this overseas is EXPENSIVE and there is no way around it. And if you don't do it right and fill out all the proper customs forms it bounces back like a rubber ball and you get to do it over again. Yeah that's the voice of experience speaking, it came back to me and had to be done all over again. VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.

thanks for the kind offer guys,as far as i can tell they ship with globel express
not the  us postal service like tracks and the outher peaple i have dealt with. i will just stick to those companys.and i got the shiping wrong for the last shipment from tracks just did a check it was $6.50 not $10.50 so as can be seen that is a more realistic shiping fee.track of the wolfe are a good company to deal with top service great bunch of people.
