I Had a 25/06 ultra  hunted with it one time killed a doe 200+ yards. hard times came so it left.  I have a nef 270 this deer season  2 shots 2 deers great gun. but i got it in my mind to buy another 25/06 . would you guys go for an ultra or just plain hani in 25/06  it will be  deer/ varmint  rifle

I have gotten some nice comments on my ultra at the range, even one of my friends have bought one. I guess my final answear is the Ultra.

If you can buy either one, get the Ultra. If you can't afford the Ultra, then get the Handi. If it dosen't matter and you just want a hunting gun to throw in the pickup and not worry to much about if it gets scratched, dented, or a bit rusty, and want to keep your gun "handy", then get the Handi. They will shoot the same, one is just a bit fancier with laminated and checkered stocks...<><.... :grin:
