hi i got a .30-30 new i traded an old friend for his used .280 ruger and he has lots of guns and he said if i want the marlin i could have it back, what would yall do?. i hunt in brush and my futheirest shoot is 100 yards , i shoot a doe the othier day with the .280 and blown her away. when i brought her home and skinned her the front shoulder was destroyed. i got the back end thou it blown a hole in the othier side of the size of a baseball i shoot deer with both calibers but my dad was not to happy to see she had no front shoulder and i know with the new hornady bullets i can shoot 300 yards, what would yall do, and thanks for yall replys
