pacific rifles

i was at the range when someone pulls out this gun.  he had the pacific rifle big bore african in 8 bore and the model 1837 zephyr in 62cal. are those gun real big africa hunting rilfes or just for shooting?

well no one has any thing to say?? well the 8bore i found out is what they use to use back in the day for big game so i guess it would be kind of cool to use it to hunt with.

The 8 bore should be able to take anything down but at a cost of considerable recoil.  If I want to shoot a big gun, I'll shoot my 458 Lott; it's pleasant to shoot, probably more accurate at longer range than the 8 bore and will take anything the 8 bore will.

your right i did like that. i would not shoot any gun pass a 12bore or ga.

i'm all about all kinds of calibers but when did the T-Rex come back alive?
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?"
Well, to tell the truth I shoot a Springfield XD so it doesnt really matter.
