If you have never done trigger work before I would just take it to a good gunsmith and have them do a trigger job on it. Trigger jobs are not that expensive and you know it will be done right. I have heard of too many stories of guys messing with triggers and taking off two much metal and making them unsafe. Other wise I suppose If you can take the trigger apart and put it back together ok I suppose a polish of the sear trigger surfaces would not hurt anything as long as you are confident in doing it. Jim
