Rent or buy a reamer, hand turn it in the present chamber(be sure to use cutting oil),  thoroughly clean chamber..

then fireform some standard Hornet cases to make K-Hornet cases.

easy as that...

We did the conversion (or rather a more talented friend of ours did) from .22 Hornet to K Hornet in a Handi and my old Savage 219.  They both turned out very well and shoot as accurately as ever.  I've learned a little about shooting .22 cast bullets in the fire forming process.  It's best to start with new brass, though I annealed  some old brass and didn't lose many cases in the process.  It's a fine and fun shooting caliber. We used 7.4 grs of 5744 behind a 46 gr gas checked cast bullet for fire forming and even got good accuracy with that load.  Happy K Hornet shooter here for sure.
