I finally got a page set up over at hunting-pictures.com.  My home page is here www.hunting-pictures.com/members/selmer/index.html
Just use the links at the top to check out my other two pages.  Check out the pictures of my Suburban, I think it looks great!
Enjoy!

Nice Pics! But you have too many rifles! Just teasing. I have an original Winchester M54 in 30'06 with factory peep, safari site, and stripper-clip feed slot on the bridge. It's my all-time faorite rifle along with my Mauser guild 8mm rifle. Thet're the only two high-dollar lod guns I have. You don't have an Elk in your gallery?
The first shot is the best shot, it may be your only shot!  Do it with a single-shot.

Selmer - thanks for the pics! I'd like to make two(2) suggestions:
1) Try a wall mounted shelf for you scale - mounted right at eye level. That will free-up a little more bench top and may save on the knees.
2) as for the Suburban - real nice job (coming from an old motorhead). want to keep it absolutely drop dead gorgeous w/o the work of waxing and/or polishing? One word - Zaino!!

Zaino? Never heard of if, please elaborate.  As for the elk rifle in my arsenal, if I can't get close enough to get them with my .30-06 and a 165 gr. Nosler Partition, I'll hang up my boots!  I can hit a milk jug at 400 yds. 9 times out of 10 with a 3x9 scope and the 165 gr. load, I practice, so I know my limitations, although 400 is maybe a little long for an elk and the .30-06, but it has done it on whitetails and mulies!

Zaino - I can't even begin to tell you about it. Let's just say I have 5 coats of Z5 (scratch remover) and 7 coats of Z2 (polish/enhancer) on my black Durango R/T - all done in one afternoon w/no buffer. And I have pics that you can see the neighbors' front door knob "in" the paint. (Neighbor's house is 92 yards from my driveway!!) Or the pics that you can see ants on the blacktop - "in" the lower door!! This stuff is just flat out awesome, and incredibly easy to use - if you can wipe down your firearms, you can use Zaino. Check out his (Sal Zaino) website www.zainobros.com
You can only buy his stuff from the website, why he doesn't sell wholesale I'll never know. It is actually a show car polish - I use it on my wife's daily driver - once a year to refresh.

I'm not sure if this post is allowed - I didn't mean to sound like an advertisement. Moderators please remove if I've overstepped my bounds.

I checked out the Zaino stuff, looks interesting, especially if it's easier to apply than Mother's Carnauba wax!  As for the wall mounted shelf, intend to do just that, as soon as we buy a house.  We're renting and I don't think the landlord would apreciate such "improvements".  I haven't got sore knees, if I sit on a folding chair, the top of the bench is eye level, irt works pretty well for now.
