I think it highly doubtful you'll get a response. I don't think you'll be seeing any more posts on this site from either Mac or Qucik. I might be wrong but my conversations with them tend to make me think you've seen the last of them.

Both have poured their heart, their sweat and their time into making this forum what it is and they are so depressed and dejected over the way the general membership acted recently that I do not expect you'll see any future posts by either.

Now that truly makes me sad , I have learned so much from both of them , and GB is right , They have put their all in to making this forum a wealth of info on the Handi's .

I do hope that they can see past all this and come back .

This justs keeps getting worse, Two great guys who gave so much. I wish they would reconsider. Broken things like families, friendships and spirts can be fixed if all concerened  want them to.

I've been in contact by way of the message component of this site with Mac' and I'd guess 'GB' is right.......Mac (maybe 'Quick', too) will not be back for a while -- if at all.    I hope they come back; but don't know that I'd expect it.

I can't say I blame them for being unhappy after trying to moderate some of the things that go on around here.    I for one think they did a good job and that their work continued to get better as time was going on.

I honestly don't know if either could be convinced to stay at this point. They feel they have lost the confidence of the group and nothing short of a strong outpouring of support is likely to help. Even that may or may not. They have just burned out at this.

Being a Moderator is a tought job and don't ever think otherwise. It takes a lot out of you. Sorta like what I go thru but on a smaller scale as I have to deal with all of the forums not just one or two. Trying to do the right thing in each instance knowing that no matter what decision you make there is a good chance half the folks are gonna get pissed off is par for the course.

I'd try to change their minds but I understand all too well where they are coming from and how they likely feel. I often wish I was merely a moderator rather than site owner. I often want to quit myself.

I quit posting on this site a while back because of the likes of Mac, Quick and Fred plus a few others that like to type, MSPRet, Brett,Handirifle and Sourdough. to name a few.
If you hate to type as I do and you read what these folks have to say and the knowledge about the Handi rifle that they are willing to share there is no use waisting space putting in my .02

Man, I don't even know what is going on.  If Mac and Quick read this then: thank you for all of the help over the last 2 years.  As a new shooter and a new reloader I learned a lot here.

the loss of ANY long time member, or especially, a moderator will hurt us all.  i am a lurker from the old site, and i pop in and out of here as my desire to join the handy ranks resurfaces.  the hook is set, and i will be buying one within the month.  i hate to see the people that have helped so many be ran off with hard feelings. i have learned tons from mac, and quicks' posts and their absense from here will be missed.

please reconsider, fences can be mended.
