Hi everyone,
I have an Encore, and would like to shoot .17HMR out of it. I have located a rimfire conversion kit for it, but I cannot find an "Encore" .17HMR barrel. Is this because one can use a Contender barrel on an Encore (never heard of this, though), or do I have to look harder for a maker of an Encore-specific .17 HMR barrel?
Sorry for my ignorance. I had a Contender for years, but this is the first Encore I have ever owned, and I am just now getting around to looking into new barrels for it (All I have is a .308 at this time). I tried to use the search feature but it would not work for me.
