Do you happen to know the barrel size, weight etc?

sure do crow feather, the barrel is 32 inches long  1 inch across the flats it way's 9&1/2 lbs and if i remember rightly the groove depth is .012. you can get the standard model comes with walnut stock, or the deluxe curly maple stock the later model is browned barrel and colour cased furniture not sure about the std model.

jack its a new model nit sure over there in the states go to www. davide pedrsoli&co.com they list the dealers in the us don't no wot the price of them is, in australia the std model tryon is $1175 so i would think that  std hawkin will go for the same and the deluxe for around $2000.

bernie,

1175 for a Tryon,  That must be in Australian money, (I HOPE) or I need to keep up with prices better.

It does sound like a beautiful rifle.  I wonder what calibers it comes in, maybe a 58?

Now if they only had a T/C guarantee.

2 years on mechanical parts. I don't foresee problems. If any arise...the dealer/distributer I deal with also does warranty work and sells parts if needed. They are at www.flintlocksetc.com

I might pay that much if it was made in the USA, but not for an Import. Nothing against imports, but I just won`t spend alot for one. For that much, you can get a base model TVM made in Tennesee. Jack.

I would tend to agree with Slayer I have a Pedersoli "Alamo", it shoots good, holds real nice, but the fit and finish could be better.IMHO
They are nice rifles but why are they so pricey? :?

Strange, I thought you had a photo of the Lyman GPR up there.  Looks like a lot of bucks for the same thing.  I think if I had that ammount of cash to throw at a rifle I would go domestic.
