Taking a trip to Big Cedar Wilderness Lodge near Branson, Missouri and would like to know if there is any place near there for prarie dog hunting.

Hate to disapoint you but there aint no P-dogs in Missouri that I ever heard of. Except the ones in the zoo. You gotta go north or west of Missouri to get at prairie dogs. Western Kanses, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Collorado, and Wyomming is where you find them. I wish there were some around here as I go evey year I can to S.D. to shoot em.   KN

theres a big dog town a few hours south of there- in oklahoma- when you gonna be around? maybe we could take a shoot at 'em.

Have already been and returned.  Still hope to hunt some pds if I am ever out in the pd area.

donovan2, I live in Missouri and go to Texas occasionally to hunt prairie dogs.  Oklahoma sure is closer, so I'd be interested in knowing roughly where this dog town is that you're talking about, if it wouldn't be giving away the family secret, of course  :grin:
