had one heck of a day in the woods. called in a coyote right off the bat even with a full moon. 125 yards .223 colt ar with shilen s/s fluted 20 inch barrel 40gr v-max.
about an hour later and two more stands-- monster female bob cat. 100 yards coming in-- one shot to the chest and down she went.. no pelt damage. more color on this kitty than any ive killed before. 2 inch long ear tufts!! gonna full size mount her chasing a pheasant i shot last weekend.
after the predatros slowed down we headed in closer to town for some crows-- 32 crows in 3 stands and 0 shot shells left. we eash brought a 25 rd box a piece.. good shootin im thinking!! wish we could post some pics, i got a couple amazing airrial kills. my buddy is loading some 1 1/4 oz 12 ga shells that seem to fluff em no matter how far they are. had a great time.
