I made some loads for my 9mm's using Winchester 231 with Rainier 115 Gr Rn and CCI 500 primers (standard small pistol). I did test loads ranging from 3.6 to 4.4 grains. None of them cycled either my Ruger P95 or Walther P99. I loaded up ten more test rounds only changing the powder to 5.2 grains of Unique, and both guns work fine. I am wondering if the problem is the crimp I put on the cases (I didn't put a very tight one on), or if it is a primer problem. Any Ideas?
