Last years 24" Barrel & Primer carriers. The 26" barrel is about $50 more. You wont beat this price anywhere I am sure for the Sidekick or the Primer Carriers.

I asked the same question on www.modernmuzzleloading.com and was sent a link to Wal-mart.  The price on the huntsman in stainless is $209.00

I was looking for the wood/blue version at Gander Mountain today.  None in the store and Gander Mountain's computer showed only 7 of those left in their chain of stores.  But listen to this...they had them listed at $99.98.  Well, came up empty after 7 calls to 7 stores...nobody actually had any in stock.

I looked up and saw a NEF box leaning against the far side of the counter.  I walked over and saw that it was a Stainless Sidekick.  So I asked the salesperson what the price was, he scans it, and it comes up $262.  It didn't interest me as I knew I could get the wood version at Walmarts for $142 or the stainless for $206.

So I ask the guy if the woods were slashed to $99, to check and see if there likewise was a price cut on the stainless.  Sure enough he comes back with a price of $169.97!

Well that was a no brainer.  Came home with a Stainless Sidekick for only $27 more than Walmart's price for a wood/blue!

Way ta go MI.  I have found that the guys at Gander are pretty helpful.  I had a line on last year's model back in the fall, but I ended up not havin' the $$ to make it happen.  Sounds like you got a really great deal.  Good Luck with the SS.  My hope is to get a stainless and then convert to the wood stocks.  I have the time to do that before the ML season comes 'round again.

I would love to find the stainless model for that price!! I have a Wood/Blue model, and prefer the looks, but for $169.97, I could not pass that up. I am going to call my GM today. Thanks :D Jack.
