Info on Mexican FN Mausers
« on: January 18, 2006, 03:56:03 AM »
It looks like I'm about to acquire a couple of Mexican FN actions.
One was from a 1924 Artillery Carbine in 7x57 and still has it's original 16" bbl, which I'd imagine would be a real flame thrower at night.
The other came from a 30-06 rifle or carbine, I'm not sure which, and has been drilled and tapped.
I'm not planning to restore either but I'd love to know some of the history behind the Mauser rifles built for Mexico by FN.
Can anyone help out there?
