I've developed somewhat of a flinch. Missed a really nice 8-point this year because of it. When the big buck stepped out I had to take a freehand shot. I went to squeeze the trigger and noticed myself pulling back and stiffening for the recoil. I took a second to settle down and refocus but did it again as I fired. The bullet sailed over his back and he was gone. *&^%@!
I am considering buying a couple of boxes of the "Managed Recoil" loads to shoot until I can get my flinch under control. Heck, if they work well I might just stay with them.
