man today was just plain beautiful , no wind high in the 60's it was a great day and of curse i went shooting :wink: . went to my range out back today tweaking my loads for the 223 ultra fluted (playing with seating depth now) and after a while of shooting i was letting the barrel cool and three crows landed at 400+ yards well one of them was stupid and came in to 280 (rangefinder) and just sat there until a 50 grain V-max ruined his day (life) , it made quite a mess and a perfect first kill for the new fluted barrel.
well out of ammo i went back in to the house and reloaded for about an hour went back out side and start shooting when 3 bucks and a doe came out of the woods and just watch me shoot (dumb ohio deer) i went through 10 rounds before they decided to leave , one of them was a 14 pointer that had about a 18-19 inch spread.
all in all it was a great day , i shot some nice groups too, :wink: i'm really starting to love that fast twist 223 (if you don't got one you need one)
