Load Data for .38 special/.44 special
« on: January 20, 2006, 12:07:02 PM »
Hey guys,

I'm sick of dealing with unique's bad metering qualities, and am trying to come up with data for some cowboy loads in .38 and .44 special with HP-38. I like using the 140 gr. and 180 gr. hornady cowboy bullets in both. If you guys have any data please share it. I need the min and max loads, with possibly some velocity figures out of a 6.5" (.38) and 8.5" (.44) barrel. Any help would be great.

Also, for all you hardened .38 special shooters out there, does the 158 grain swc ussually perform better than other weights?

thanks,
