I am the new owner of a TC Encore. I currently have a 10in 7mm-08 that I am having some accuracy problems with. While I work that barrel out I would like to get a smaller caliber for varmint and target shooting. The .204 Ruger has spectacular ballistics but I have been reading about a large amount of muzzle blast from a 15in barrel. The .223 is tried and true but the ballistics are short of the Ruger. Any ideas?
