skinning fox

I'm not a trapper but this seemed like the spot for this question.

I've done some predator calling and just got into keeping hides. Did my first, a grey, and a red fox the other day. Turns out alright but boy it is hard to skin their faces out. Any good tips on this, knives to use etc? Also any other sound advice on fleshing, stretching and drying fox?

Sorry for the novice question here.....long time hunter but only recently started skinning for tanning.

Contact your Virginia Trappers association and get some hands on from a good fox trapper that has skinned alot of fox... that is much better than anyone could do by trying to explain  in words...
The president of the association is Bryan Nelso   phone nbr 540 652 6021 or email   redfox12172@netscape.net.
Good luck and im sure  Bryan will  connect you with someone close to you or at least within driving distance....
