Premier 18-40X..No More?

I was just on Premier Reticles website and it appears that since the passing of Dick, they will no longer offer the 18-40X or any other boosted scopes.  Reticles changes offered have been affected as well.

Roget that Laster.... Look for a used one or find a different option for now...

Last one I found for $725 sold quick, it was used but like new. Just to give you a feel for the market. There are a number of people looking for them in the $500 to $600 range, if you find some that you pass on post them up here, few folks are looking....

I bought a 18-40 with CPC and 3/8 dot from Premier  last season for 778.00 delivered.  Pretty pricey.  The 1/2 inch dot silhouette special was a little less.  
In the past I tried the 1/2 floating dot and never liked it.  I like to see the cross hairs to get a level on the animals.  I tried ordering the 1/2 dot in a fine duplex.  Premier would not make it, but suggested the CPC + 3/8 dot.  From the selection chart, the CPC crosshairs appeared much bolder than the leupold dot crosshairs.  The selection chart is deceptive, the thickness is exagerated.  In the actual scope, the CPC crosshairs look a lot finer, and to me, it is really close to a floating dot.  A pretty expensive mistake.
