EAA witness-p 10mm, Any comments?
« on: January 23, 2006, 08:57:36 AM »
I just picked up a witness full size polimer and was just wondering what others thought about the gun? It shoots nice 3 inch groups off hand at 25 yards. I've only run some hand loads through it. Had a few feed problems bought some blazer had no feed problems and wasquite a difference in muzzle blast, but just wondering what others thought about the gun or witnesses or EAA in general. Any feed back would be great.

I've got one of the all metal witness compacts in 10mm. I've only put about 70 rounds thru it so far. But it didn't jam once. And it's an auto i can hit things with which isn't the norm for me. From what i understand if you're going to shoot hot loads out of it you should step up to a wolf 22# spring.

I have a full size all steel in the Wonder Finish. I bought a Wolff calibration spring kit, and +10% mag springs to get it to run right. Finally ended up with the 20# recoil spring and the extra power firing pin spring. It runs good now and shoots great!  Love the ergonomics and mild recoil.
Good gun for the money.

Thanks for the info  I really liike the feel of the gun. Recoil isn't bad at all a litttle more then my glock 30 I used to have had to part with the 30 due to money issues. Course I'm used to shooting my 500 smith so recoil of most guns is rather pleasent to me. The trigger pull on the witness is good and consistant I've fired  another witness in 38 super and the trigger never broke in the same spot, which made me wonder about the witness but I took the chance anyways on the gun. I got it brand new for 310. I thought was a good price. any other opinions of them would be great. Just trying to find as much as I can about them so far no bad replys yet.
