I am thinking of buying one of the Factory Black or Camoflauge stock sets for my encore and was wondering if the limbsaver pad will exchange between them or will I be out another 30.00 for a different one.

Does it raise you cheek any above the regular stock? I have an Eagle stock pack on mine right now to get the proper(for me) eye/cheek alignment?

I ordered a thumbhole stock from Cabelas and printed out the Simms 10031 template, the stock should be here Friday or Monday. I will let you know what I find out.

I put a composite thumbhole stock on my encore and was able to use the limbsaver pad from my old stock. The cheekpiece does raise your level of sight. I prefer this stock to the regular encore stock. Just seems to fit me better.

I appreciate the replies I am thinking of buying the stock and didnt want to have to buy a new recoil pad.
I have a cheek pad on mine right now and liked the way the thumbhole felt when I tried it at the store.
