While at my local gun shop on Friday, I had put a deposit on a Model 12FV-S. I also spotted a rifle I never thought I'd see again, a Model 10 Scout in .308. It's similar to the Model 10 Sierra, same 20" barrel and same lightweight, but with a forward scope mount, oversized bolt, and ghost ring sights. I had looked for one of these several years ago and they had stopped making them, so I couldn't even order one. Well if I had the extra cash I would have dropped a deposit on this one as well as the model 12. I doubt I'll ever find another. The dealer was asking $399.99 for this NIB Scout rifle. Where he ever came across this NIB I'll never know.
