Marlin take-down .22 mag bolt
« on: July 19, 2005, 11:07:02 AM »
Some years ago (perhaps in the late 1980s) there was a takedown  Marlin 22 magnum bolt rifle. Has anyone had any experience with this particular model, good or bad? Does anyone remember the name/model number of this gun?

Thanks,

Blunderbus

Got a buddy that had one said it was a tack driver sold to a guy at or work and that guy said the same thing "tack driver"! The gun stays in his truck uses it around the chicken farm said its easy to get out of the truck window and really handy, shoots CCI Maxi Max 40gr. HPs.

I have a few Midget Magnums.I had to lighten the triggers on all of them.Kind of hard to shoot with such a short barrel.I still love this model.Easy to take with you and has a bit of extra power to knock down most critters in the way.

This is my first time here and the reason for being here is the Marlin 25MB.  If anyone has one in good condition for sale I would be interested.  I think that when they were new they came with a scope and carrying pouch.  I would like to find a complete outfit.

make a post in the classifieds at the top of the page, below the "Graybeard Outdoors" logo.

buying and selling only take place there, not on this forum.
