I have a 4x12x40AO.  It has better glass than my Trophy or the legend I own.  I know it is only fully coated but the glass is brighter than most of the Bushnells I own.  I'll probably catch heck for this, but it is as bright as my 2x7Mueller multishot. I wish I would have bought more of the Banners even if they are made in China.   Maybe I have a good one, I don't know.

Just put one of the 3 x 9 x 50's on a Ultra Handi 25-06. Only shot it to sight in, but like it a lot.

I bought one to put on my sons .243.......and while sighting it in and going with him to shoot his first buck when he was 10........well....it looked brighter and more clear than alot of other scopes I have sighted through ..( Simmons....Red.)    So , when I bought a new .270 for me , I bought a banner 3x9x40....3 yrs later....and alot of rounds...still holds true, still bright.....for the money , I am a happy man......I would buy another one...in a heartbeat
