I don't know of anyone making a .406" bullet for the .40-65 Win caliber. I don't see anyone wanting to shoot anything but cast in this caliber. Your friend should be able to hunt, or do most anything with the 260 gr. cast, with no problems. Any reason for the need of a jacketed bullet?

Barnes used to make a 250rg .406 but now seems out-of-stock everywhere. Anyone know where theres a stash? Hawk bullets makes .406 in varying jacket thickness.

Buffalo Arms lists several jacketed .406" bullets, whether they actually have em is another question, though!! They're listed on page 2 and 3.
