Project BUSHMASTER .223.... what recommendations do you have

In the next 5-6 months, I am planning on buying a semi auto(.223) for plinking and varmint hunting from time to time,

the one that comes to mind is the BUSHMASTER A3 with 20" barrel and 1:9 twist with chromed barrel and reciever.  Ammo Im going to use is mostly going to be M193s (55 grain FMJ).

What are your thoughts / experiences with this semi-auto ? how do you like its accuracy ? where do you people obtain bulk and cheap ammo from ? which ammo do you folks use ?

Now for the ultimate question, what type of scope do you guys recommend ?

Yes buy a Rock River instead that is my recomendation.
