SIMMONS MASTER SERIES
« on: January 30, 2006, 04:19:39 AM »
I BOUGHT TWO 2.5x 10 AETEC SCOPES ONE FOR ME ONE FOR MY BUDDY
PUT MINE ON A 30-06 HIS WENT ON A 300 WSM AFTER 20 ROUNDS HIS PARALLAX WENT BAD ALONG WITH THE POWER ADJUSTMENT.
WHEN I LOOKED AT THE WARENTTY THEY WANT ME TO PAY SHIPPING BOTH WAYS (YOU HAVE TO PUT A CHECK IN FOR $10.00)
THIS IS @#$%$#@
IF IT'S A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT THEY SHOULD PAY FOR THE SHIPPING
I'VE NEVER HAD TO PAY SHIPPING WHEN RETURNING A RIFLE OR PISTOL FOR REPAIR?
WHAT GIVES.

The $10 fee applies to all Simmons scopes, not just the Master Series. The Master Series also has a 48 hour turn around policy on replacement....

They aren't alone in the $10 fee policy, Bushnell has the same policy...

Sorry about your troubles with the Simmons.  Most people including myself have got quick turn around times with them.  Often, they just send you a new scope.  Simmons has good customer service compared to some of the other companies.
