.45 cal for mounted shooting

a friend of mine and i have become interested in mounted shooting and would like to buy .45 caliber revolvers(the kind that you load with crushed wallnut) to learn with, we have a the other nessisary equipment,holsters horses and tack but lack in the gun department can anyone help me find a .45 cal. for this purpose, or do i need to buy a .45 cal. revolver thats real and pre-load cylinders with wall-nut. bit new to mounted shooting as im sure you can tell.

Be sure your horses are well used ta gunshots off their back!

The almond shell loads are usually just bought around these parts (I use 45 LC) but I guess you can load yer own. Hitten' them balloons can be trickier than it appears!  8)
