pre 64 94

I have a pre 64 94 in 32 win special.  I'm not a collector and am considering selling the gun.  One fella who showed some interest became disinterested when he found that years ago it had been drilled for a side Weaver Scope Mount.  He said he'd be interested if it were a factory job.

Did these rifles ever come from the factory with a scope mount?  It was built in 62 or 63.  

I'd like to sell the thing to free up some money for another little gem that I have my eye on but where to go?................

Its unlikely that the d & t job is factory.  Obviously you'll work out a price with the buyer but the market for 32W.S. pre 64 94's isn't that high especially if its been bubba'd.
