Bipod on Combo
« on: March 08, 2006, 04:28:23 AM »
Has anyone mounted a bipod on their combo.  I have the Baikal and am trying to covert the swivwls to QD so I can mount a Vera-pod on that gun.  Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Doug

Thanks doug,

Great looking pict., it looks like you have it all ready to go now.  What will you be hunting with it?

I had the chance to look at Bakails in 12/30-06, a double 30-06, and also a S/S 30-06 yesterday.  I had not handled any of them in a long time, so i wasn't sure of the kinds of swivels they had.  After i looked them over i could see it wouldn't be much of a job to drill them out to get them where you wanted them.  I've done it on other euro guns myself.

Anyway, they looked like decent guns, i'm glad you like yours.

The gun is currently configured for Coyotes at night.  In a month I will use the Turkey Choke.  In the fall I go with the rifled choke for slugs.  This is the curent everything gun  But maybe I should get a .223/12 ga or a 25-06/12ga ( I dont know if there is such a gun)  :-D

I really like this gun and would hate to part with it unless you want to trade a drilling for it...   :-D      :D

Just think, if it was a Valmet 412, all you would have to do is buy another bbl set for it...

I am willing to convert to the Valmet.  Just send me one with 30-06/12, 223/12, 12/12 and 16/16 barrels.

Hey doug,

No problem.  Start sending me money, and i'll let you know when you have it all paid for.  Don't take too long though, i may just decide to sell the whole package to someone else!!

I'll be waiting right here for your payment.
