I have a 14" Contender barrel on order in a 25-35 Winchester cartridge.  Can hardly wait for it to come.  Any recommondations on a scope for it.  Now I'm leaning towards a Bushnell Trophy Handgun 2X6 veriable.  Any comments.  Thanks

I use the Bushnell trophy 2X6X32 on one of my S&W 460 Mags and one on my 454 Casull TC Encore pistol. I really like them a lot, I prefer them over the Leupold 2X or 4X pistol scopes.  :D

My Encore pistol in .308 cam with the T/C scope.  It hasn't given me any problems.  The gun shoots great and I figure that the company has tested these scopes and they are reliable.  If you want to spend a few buck, Burris makes a great pistol scope as well.

YOu may even look at the Weaver pistol scopes. I'm currently using two along with the many Burris scopes and have had no problems with any of them.

For my short arms, the Bushnell 2-6X had too much eye relief and I couldn't get a good sight picture without stretching into an uncomfortable position.
I've never had any problems with Leupold 2X or 4X scopes or Nikon 2X's.  My favorite is the Nikon 2X.  I own three of them.   Sold my Leupolds.
The Burris 2-7X is a nice scope but I had one fail after 10 shots on a 44 Mag TC barrel, so I lost confidence in them.  Had two and sold them off.
