just got back from the range with one of those unreliable litte 1911s this one a cdp kimber compact a commander slide and an officers grimp frame. I piced it up used on a trade two weeks ago and so far ive shot two coffee cans of ammo through it one with saeco 225 round nose and one with lyman 200 swc both with 5 grains of aa2 and it had exactly one burp. That one was a primmer that got seated sideways. You think that dammed thing would have ran that round to but you know how unreliable they are. Cant wait to put that little bugger on the bench as off hand with the round nosed ammo at 15 yards today it outshot my gold cup and that gold cup is one of the most consistantly accurate 1911s ive ever shot. I like that little gun so much i made another swap friday for a 3 inch cdp. Havent got it yet but if its half the gun the ohter one is it will be a keeper too.

I've got a three inch Para Ordenance C 6.45 and its accuracy is more than adequate for the intended use of the gun.  It has cycled everything I've put thru it.

Lloyd, these little guns seem to shoot all out of proportion to their size!  I had an officers a few years ago that was one of the best shooting 1911's I have owned and it was always 100 % reliable.  I traded it off in a fit of stupidity for a Glock!  44 Man
