The auction for the RMEF Handi in 35 whelen finally came today. I got to bring that handi home for 200 bucks. It is in great shape with the box and papers. Their are a few scratches on it but that is it.
On the way home I stopped at a local gun shop for a scope and a set of dies for it and on the used rack they had a handi in 280 Remington for 150.00. This handi looks like it hasn't been shot at all, not a scratch on it nothing. So, I decided to skip the scope and dies and picked up that handi as well.
Does any have any ideas if it is worth breaking in a used gun or not. Thanks,
