Blues turn to Smiles
« on: February 10, 2006, 02:04:10 PM »
Well I am happy to say that my Model 97 41 mag just showed up and it is every thing I had hoped.  The 5 inch barrel and rounded grip makes for perfect balance for me. I think they did an action jod for me as well, the trigger on this gun is a lot crisper than the last 41 FA that I had . It is close enough to the proverbial breaking glass rod that I am amazed. Can't hardly wait for my wait period to get over so that I can start load developement. Start to finish on the reorder was just two weeks ! Thank you Freedom Arms! :lol:  :grin:

blacktail;

glad to hear of your purchase. I know you will be well pleased.
Congratulations!  :grin:
I'm still working on a load for my Model 97 in the 41. I really want it to shoot 170 grainers. I've got a heavy load for it using a 250gr. WFN- Gas Check. But I want something a little easier on the wrist.
Sound like you got a one of a kind revolver.
Good Shooting and Keep us updated on your results at the range.
