what do you guys pay?
« on: February 07, 2006, 07:57:01 AM »
I have to ask what you guys pay at your local gun shops for new handis?

Just the basic with either the wood or synthetic stocks, nothing special.  From the sound of things, seems like my local guy has them really cheap.  We pay right at $200 for either.  Is this a lot less than others?

Thanks

That's a good price, it's comparable to the big chain stores and Walmart.

Most around here run a hair over $220 + tax. used about $200. Walmart is cheaper by about $20.

Most of the NEF's here go for around $229 plus tax. Sportsman's warehouse used to have some of the synthetic Handi's for $189; now they're just over $200 -- Still better than Wal-Mart for most of their rifles!

Same prices.
WalMart is part of the problem... support your local shops, not WalMart.

Not the same price after shipping and FFL fees, just about everyone except Californians have a Walmart near them to buy firearms from, no shipping and no FFL fee....just a matter of economics, provide the service, they will come.

Regular Handi's go for $219-$249 depending on his supplier.  The H&R Varmint Ultra I just ordered was $279 + tax and fees.  ...but he always throws in a box of cartridges with a gun purchase. ..evens out a little.

Yep is more then Walmart..  but I like the local guy.  I just explained why in another thread here.

I just picked up anew .223 HB for $239 ( I did a trade in so I don't know what his cash price would have been).

$259 for SS 22-250 from a shop whose owner is a member of the gun club I'm a member of.

I paid too much?

Best $25 I've ever "wasted". It was paid to a friend, a shooter, a member of my community.
