tannery service by mail
« on: February 12, 2006, 01:37:15 PM »
I shot a coyote yesterday and am looking for a tannery where I can send it in and have it tanned.  Anybody know of a tannery that has provided good service and good prices?

I have the pelt skinned and rubbed in kosher salt right now.  It's pretty cold outside now (25F-35F)and should be okay out in the garage and caked in salt for a few days, right?

Any tips on caring for the fur before it gets sent in?

Thanks!
