Well from your post it's obvious that you are not opening this for offers. So, I'll be honest with you about what it's worth..........I can't tell you about the gun until I know what kind of stocks it has, what length the barrel is, how old it is, and how many rounds have been shot thru it. You say it is an NEF, but could it be a Harrington and Richardson (H&R), these things have great significance in determining the worth of your gun.
Your scope on the other hand, is worth about $85 in fair condition, all the way up to about $125 in superior condition.

Depending on the specific model, a new Handi from Walmart can be had for $200-$213 and an Ultra for $242, and the scope sells for less than $100 new. Used Handis sell for $125-$150 and Ultras a bit more. This should give you a ballpark idea.
