Dupont Pistol Powder Number 5
« on: March 23, 2003, 04:19:16 PM »
Has anyone heard of "Dupont Pistol Powder Number 5"?  I was recently given an 8 ounce can of it and was wondering if it has any A. K A. (like Reloader 5 or something).  I would be grateful for any such information or even for loads listed for it.  Didn't Dupont sell off the powder division a long time ago?

DuPont #5 was a pistol powder manufactured between 1920 and 1940.  It was the replacement for DuPont #3.
